Spring Semester Visits

Lion's Share

Campus tour for all majors, but with an emphasis on our programs in Marketing, Journalism, Communication Studies, Political Communication, Communication Disorders, and Writing, Literature, and Publishing. Select times also include a general information session hosted by admission staff. (1hr 15min.)

Center Stage

Campus tour for Performing Arts majors featuring our performance and production facilities, other stops around our "Campus on the Common", and a Q&A session covering audition information and student life at Emerson. Select times also include a general information session hosted by admission staff. (2.5 hr.)

Reel Life

Campus tour for Visual and Media Arts majors featuring our media production facilities, other stops around our "Campus on the Common", examples of student work, and information about student life at Emerson. Select times also include a general information session hosted by admission staff. (2.5 hr.)


Department Specific Visits:

Communication Disorders: Please contact the Communication Disorders Department at 617-824-8730 to schedule a tour of the Robbins Clinic.

Political Communication and Communication Studies majors: Appointments with the department chair will be available on January 22nd, February 19, March 19 and April 2nd. To register, simply choose one of these dates to schedule your visit.


Class Visits:

If you would like to observe a class while you are on campus, please call 617.824.8600 well in advance of your visit to hear about our current offerings.

Holiday hours:

In observance of upcoming holidays, students are not in class and the college is closed. However, we will be open for tours. On those days (February 15, March 6 through the 14 and April 19) access to some campus facilities may be limited.


Transfer Student Open House

We invite you and your family to visit Emerson College to learn more about our unique academic and co-curricular opportunities, explore our campus, and meet many of our impressive students, faculty and staff. Throughout the day you will be hearing from student services representatives and current students; and you will be able to attend academic sessions with our dynamic faculty. You will also have the chance to informally engage students, staff, and faculty, as they speak with you about Emerson's academic and social opportunities.

Our Transfer Open House will be held on February 19, 2010. Registration begins at 12:00 pm, followed by information and academic sessions. Optional campus tours will be offered during the day.
